PPT 2002 Updates
Presenting the show in PPT 2002 is very similar to how you do it in PowerPoint 2000.
PPT 2002 presents a show using the settings entered in the Set Up Show dialog box (shown below).

In this box you choose the attributes for the following:

Show Type
Choose Presented by speaker (full screen), Browsed by an individual (window) or Browsed at a kiosk (full screen)
Show Options
Choose one or all of the following choices:

Loop continuously until "Esc"

  Show without narration
  Show without animation
Pen color
Click on the down arrow next to the color in this box to choose a new color for the pen. This pen is used while the show is running. Whatever you draw on the screen will not be remembered once you click to go to the next animation or slide.
Show Slides (right side of dialog box)
Choose All slides or enter the range of slides you want to show.
Advance Slides
Choose to advance the slides in the show either manually by the click of the mouse. Use Timings, if present option will advance the slides after so many seconds (you enter the number of seconds that the slide will be displayed).
Multiple Monitors
If you have multiple monitors set up to show the presentation, you make the settings here. Look in the Help for PowerPoint to learn more about this.
Performance
Use hardware graphics acceleration - check Help for information on this.

Slide Show Resolution - this is where you can set what the resolution of the projection unit is to make sure your slide show projects the best. Options are displayed in this graphic.
